More info...

What is a vinyl sticker?
A vinyl sticker is a sticky piece of vinyl that can be stuck onto any smooth, dry, clean surface.  Unfortunately it wont stick to any bumpy, rough or pourous surface though.

How long do they last?
Our vinyl stickers should last about 2 to 3 years indoors, away from direct sunlight.  Sunlight may cause the colour to fade and the sticky bits to not last quite as long.

What's that smell?
Vinyl stickers may smell slightly when new.  It shouldn't last long, but you can air them for a while outside or in a well-ventilated area.

How to clean your vinyl sticker?
Wipe with a damp, clean cloth.

How do I remove my vinyl sticker?
Lift up a little edge with your nail.  Peel the sticker slowly from the surface.  Peel downwards, flush with the surface, do not just pull away from the surface.
TIP: Warming the sticker up with a hair dryer should make the sticky stuff a bit easier to manipulate and it will come off a bit easier.

Can I reuse or reposition my vinyl sticker?
Unfortunately the vinyl stickers are not reusable or repositionable, they can only be used once.  Stickers stuck on old paint might pull the paint off when removing.

Can I stick my sticker on a newly painted wall?
Do not stick stickers on a newly painted wall, give it about 2 weeks before sticking!

Removing air bubbles?
When sticking your sticker, start from one side or the top. Keep the rest of the sticker away from the surface. Slowly rub down over the sticker and smooth it onto the surface.  Press out any bubbles as you go. Once stuck down, any bubbles can be removed by smoothing them lightly out of the sticker. If there are still some stubborn bubbles, prick a small hole in the bubble with a pin and push out the air.

Installation Instructions:

Your sticker has 3 layers:  The top layer is called application paper. Then your sticker and finally a backing paper.  The application paper makes sticking your sticker so much easier.

Tools you might need:    Bank card, scissors & masking tape.

  1. Place the sticker facing up on the floor or a table. Rub sticker firmly with bank card to ensure the sticker sticks to the application paper (top layer) when you remove the backing.
  2. Find the smooth surface where you want to stick your sticker.
  3. Make sure the surface is clean and dry.
  4. Cut off the frame around the sticker and any other parts you might need to cut.
  5. Tape your stickers with the masking tape to see what it will look like.
  6. Peel off the backing paper.
  7. Stick your sticker to the surface and make sure it is firmly stuck on.
  8. Apply from the middle of the sticker outwards.
  9. Rub over the sticker with the bank card to ease out any air bubbles.
  10. Slowly peel off the application paper.
  11. If any bubbles appear, squeeze/rub them out to the edge or make a small hole with a pin and squeeze the air out.

There you have it!  Enjoy your gorgeous sticker!
